Ministry of Electronics and IT has issued notices to social media apps, TikTok and Helo, warning them of a possible ban if they fail to give reasonable answers to govt questions. The notice was issued after complaints filed by Swadeshi Jagran Manch about anti-national activity on the social apps.
Earlier, in April, Tiktok was banned for four weeks. The Bytedance-owned firms plan to invest $1 billion over the next three years in India. (source)
