Orange Health Labs, a diagnostics lab and healthcare platform, has raised $12 million in a funding round led by Amazon Smbhav Venture Fund.

Existing investors, including Accel, General Catalyst, Bertelsmann India Investments, and Y Combinator, also participated in the round.

Earlier in June 2022, Orange Health had raised $25 million in its Series B round led by General Catalyst and Bertelsmann India Investments. Three months later, it announced its maiden employee stock option plan and equity buyback program worth $1 million. The firm has raised $47 million to date.

The fresh proceeds will be used to accelerate product expansion, strengthen its team, and drive further innovation in diagnostics.

Launched in December 2020 by Dhruv Gupta and Tarun Bhambra, Orange Health is an on-demand diagnostic firm that provides at-home sample collection across Bengaluru, Gurugram, Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad. As of now, it claims to have provided diagnostic testing services to over 1 million customers.

At present, it runs six labs and has partnered with over 1,000 clinics.

According to Orange Health, it has posted 3x growth over the past two years and is on track to achieve 100% growth this year. The company also claims that it recently crossed a Rs 100-crore annual revenue run rate and has also achieved profitability in Bengaluru.

In April 2021, Amazon announced $250 million worth Amazon Smbhav Venture Fund for Indian startups and made its first investment in Gurugram-based MSME-focused fintech startup M1xchange. The fund has also backed The Good Glamm Group, Cashify, Fitterfly, and Smallcase.
