Amazon has pumped in Rs 450 crore into its payments arm Amazon Pay. The fresh capital has come after five months when Amazon had put in Rs 300 crore in the payment arm.
This will give much-needed firepower to fight against arch-rivals like PhonePe, Google Pay and Paytm. Earlier this month, Amazon had infused Rs 2,800 crore into its Indian marketplace. (Source)
