To fight against arch-rival Flipkart, Amazon has pumped in Rs 2,800 crore into its Indian marketplace. The fresh funding in marketplace arm has come after a gap of six months after the e-commerce giant put in Rs 2,200 crore in December 2018.
Meanwhile, the e-commerce major had also topped up its payments and food retail business with Rs 300 crore and Rs 240 crore capital infusion. (Source)
