Amazon Corporate Holdings has invested Rs 3,400 crore in its India unit, seller services. Amazon has allotted 3.4 billion equity shares of Rs 10 each on rights basis to the existing shareholders of the company reportedly.
This is Amazon’s second investment in its India marketplace this year. Previously, it had invested Rs 2,800 crore in June. Amazon India B2B arm posted Rs 141 crore loss in FY19. (Source)
