Amazon today announced that it has crossed $20 billion in cumulative e-commerce exports from India through its Global Selling program, completing its revised 2025 goal ahead of time. The company now plans to enable $80 billion in cumulative exports by 2030.

Started in 2015, the program allows Indian exporters to sell on more than 18 Amazon marketplaces, including the US, UK, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Canada, and Germany. It has onboarded over 2 lakh exporters, a 33% rise in the seller base during the past year. Exporters on the platform have sold over 75 crore Made-in-India products to customers worldwide.

Exporters from Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Haryana account for the largest share on the platform. Smaller cities such as Karur, Erode, Panipat, Junagadh, Anand, and Haridwar also saw growth in 2024, with exports ranging between $22 million and $147 million.

Product categories with the highest 10-year compound annual growth rates (CAGR) include health and personal care (45%), beauty (45%), toys (44%), home (39%), apparel (37%), and furniture (36%).

Srinidhi Kalvapudi, Head of Amazon Global Selling India, said that the company has reached the $20 billion milestone ahead of target and aims to expand exports further through technology, capacity building, and partnerships.

Amazon said it will continue to work with Indian MSMEs to simplify areas such as compliance, logistics, payments, and cross-border operations. The company will also release Exports Digest 2025, which will provide data and insights on ecommerce exports from India.
