Bollywood actor Neetu Chandra-backed agri-tech startup Agrifeeder has secured US FDA certification, paving the way for the export of agricultural produce sourced directly from farmers across Bihar. The certification marks Agrifeeder’s formal entry into global markets as it looks to build export-ready, value-added brands rooted in regional produce.

The announcement was made at an event in Delhi, where the company also unveiled its global-facing brand identity, Agrifeeder by Neetu Chandra, under which all international products will now be marketed.

Founded in 2017 by Priya Pandey, Raman Kumar, Raunak Kumar, and Neetu Chandra, Agrifeeder operates an agri-commerce platform that works directly with farmers across Bihar. The startup focuses on improving farm incomes through market access, branding, packaging, and integrated supply-chain solutions, while enabling value addition through quality standardisation and traceability.

According to the company, its model is designed to address structural challenges faced by small and marginal farmers, including limited access to markets, price volatility, and reliance on intermediaries. With a Bihar-first operating strategy and a growing global footprint, Agrifeeder is positioning itself as a sustainable, export-oriented platform focused on farmer empowerment and regional excellence.

Speaking at the event, Neetu Chandra, co-founder of Agrifeeder, said, “putting my name on the packaging means standing behind the quality, the sourcing, and the livelihoods connected to every product. As we enter global markets, this brand represents trust, traceability, and the belief that produce from Bihar can compete internationally on meri.”

As part of its long-term community engagement initiatives, the startup has adopted villages to support livelihoods, local employment, and agricultural growth. Agrifeeder’s product portfolio includes lemongrass herbal tea, chanasattu, chanasattu with moringa powder mix, chanasattu with wheatgrass powder mix, raw honey, Jardalu mango, Katarni rice and poha, jaggery maize, and other indigenous agricultural products native to Bihar.

Agrifeeder claims it currently works with a network of over 50,000 farmers across the state, supporting them through direct market linkage, branding, packaging, and supply-chain coordination, with the aim of helping farmers earn up to 10x higher income by transitioning from commodity sales to value-led, export-ready markets.
