Dashverse, the full stack AI entertainment company developing platforms for mobile-first entertainment, has raised $13 million in Series A funding round led by Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia Capital India & SEA). The round also witnessed participation from existing investors Z47 (formerly Matrix Partners India) and Stellaris Venture Partners.
Entrackr had exclusively reported about Dashverse Series A funding. The Bengaluru-based company had previously raised $5 million in a seed round from Stellaris Venture Partners and Z47.
Co-founded in 2023 by Sanidhya Narain, Lalith Gudipati and Soumyadeep Mukherjee, Dashverse aims to bring together advanced artificial intelligence and human imagination. The platform enables creators worldwide to develop, publish, and monetize original stories across comics and microdramas.

Through its ecosystem, which includes DashReels (short drama app), Frameo.AI (generative video studio), Dashtoon (mobile comics app) and Dashtoon Studio (web-based AI creator platform), it aims to make content creation accessible to everyone, promote mobile-first entertainment, and create a platform for future global entertainment franchises.
Dashverse first proved its model with Dashtoon, its popular AI-powered platform for creating and distributing digital comics. Building on that success, the company has taken an integrated approach to video, with Frameo.AI , enabling creators to generate high-quality serialized content using AI, and DashReels distributing these mobile-first microdramas to a growing global audience.
Dashverse claims that no one is replicating its approach. There are several short drama apps such as KuKuTV, Quick TV and others, but these platforms operate more like studios, producing and publishing their own content. In contrast, Dashverse is creating a platform where creators generate and publish their own content, following a model closer to YouTube rather than a traditional studio. While there is some indirect competition on the demand side among microdrama apps, its integrated creator-driven platform stands apart in both concept and execution.
Dashverse claims to have over 20 million users worldwide and DashReels surpassed 5 million downloads within a month of launch.
