Fabless semiconductor startup Vervesemi has raised $10 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Ashish Kacholia and Unicorn India Ventures. The round also saw participation from Roots Ventures, Caperize Fina, and MAIQ Growth Scheme.
The Noida-based company had previously raised $500,000.
The fresh capital will be used to accelerate the commercialization of its machine learning–enhanced analog signal chain IC portfolio, expand its IP portfolio, strengthen R&D capabilities, and build a go-to-market presence across Asia, the US, and other key semiconductor markets, Vervesemi said in a press release.
Co-founded in 2017 by Rakesh Malik and Pratap Narayan Singh, Vervesemi Microelectronics is a fabless semiconductor company focused on high-performance analog and mixed-signal IP and differentiated integrated circuits for global markets. The startup leverages proprietary machine learning–enabled architectures to improve reliability, yield, and system-level performance in mission-critical environments.
Over the past year, the company said it has made significant progress in technology maturation and commercial readiness. It has validated its ML-enabled analog signal chain architecture in silicon, with multiple customers entering production, while also expanding its product pipeline and customer engagement across industrial and smart energy segments.
Vervesemi has also launched a new motor control product line for high-efficiency and high-reliability applications in electric vehicles, drones, and industrial automation. These solutions integrate precision sensing, control intelligence, and enhanced fault detection to improve performance and safety.
Additionally, the startup has strengthened partnerships with fabrication, packaging, and testing players to support scalable production and faster silicon validation cycles.
Vervesemi claims to have developed over 140 semiconductor IP blocks and 25 IC product variants serving space, defence, industrial, motor control, and smart energy applications. Its portfolio is backed by 10 patents and five trade secrets. The company is an IP alliance partner within the Samsung Advanced Foundry Ecosystem (SAFE) and also a UMC IP alliance partner.
