Foodtech major Eternal (formerly Zomato) has appointed Aditya Mangla as the CEO of its core food delivery business.
Mangla takes over from Rakesh Ranjan, who completed his two-year stint in the role. Eternal’s board approved Mangla’s appointment on July 6 for a two-year term, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Ranjan, while stepping down as a designated Senior Management Personnel (SMP), will continue to be associated with the firm.
Mangla has been with Eternal since March 2021, holding multiple leadership roles across product, supply, and customer experience. Before joining Zomato, he held senior P&L and product positions across startups and technology-led firms.
During the fourth quarter of FY25, Eternal reported a 64% year-on-year surge in revenue, growing to Rs 5,833 crore from Rs 3,562 crore in Q4FY24. The company also posted a profit of Rs 39 crore during the same period. Eternal’s food delivery segment contributed 35% to the overall operating income.
On Friday, the company closed at Rs 261.2 with the total market capitalization of Rs 2,52,067 crore (approximately $29.6 billion).
