Agara Labs, a deep-tech startup that helps automate customer support, has raised $2.5 million from Blume Ventures and Russia’s RTP Global in its pre-Series A funding round. The fresh capital will be used for building teams in deep learning, engineering, and setting up North America sales office.
A significant chunk of the proceeds will be used for product development expenses including acquiring high-performance computing setups. In 2017, Agara had raised seed investment from Silicon Valley-based vc firm Kleiner Perkins. (Source)
