NITI Ayog has proposed a cabinet note for provision of Rs. 7,500 crore to create cloud computing platform AIRAWAT, 5 research institutes for CORE and 20 international centres for transformational AI. For this, the Aayog has send the note to the Expenditure Finance Committee. This is part of the NITI Aayog’s proposal to create an institutional framework and a transparent policy in place for AI in the country in next three years. (Source)
