Sportstech startup CricHeroes has raised its Series B1 round led by Venture Catalysts for an undisclosed amount. 

The funding round saw participation from several notable investors, including Games24x7 (an existing investor), WeFounderCircle, Eagle10 Ventures (via LetsVenture), Ivy Growth, and Pranav Patel of Pnr Projects Private Limited. 

The proceeds will be used to scale revenue, launch new initiatives, and build the brand, the startup said in a press release. 

Founded by Abhishek Desai, Kuntal Shah, and Meet Shah, CricHeroes empowers millions of grassroots cricketers to showcase their talent, gain recognition, and improve their skills through data-driven insights. The platform also fosters a strong grassroots cricket community by capturing all transactions between its members.

The Ahmedabad-based startup also allows usera to add their own team, search players, search teams, arrange a match with local teams, find tournaments around them, analyse their scores, share their achievements and much more.

According to CricHeroes, its freemium business model has allowed it to rapidly expand the user base and create a comprehensive ecosystem for grassroots cricket.
