Travel-tech SaaS startup Ziptrrip has raised Rs 2 crore in a pre-seed funding round from angel investors including Anil K Jha, Prantik Dasgupta, and others.
The new proceeds will be deployed towards market expansion, enhance its team-building efforts and drive continuous product innovation, Ziptrrip said in a press release.
Co-founded in 2020 by Shan Prabhakaran and Rishabh Agarwal, Ziptrrip offers a comprehensive end-to-end solution that integrates travel bookings and expense management. The platform empowers businesses to efficiently manage both travel and expenses within a single, unified interface.
According to Ziptrrip, it eliminates reliance on traditional travel agents by offering zero markup, best-in-industry pricing, and access to corporate fares with minimal cancellation fees, along with a suite of other benefits. The platform leverages advanced technology and AI and analyzes customer travel patterns and policy compliance to deliver the valuable fares through a meta-supply backend.
Ziptrrip claims to have partnered with more than 250 corporate clients and maintained profitability since inception.
