Healthcare startup Icanheal has raised Rs 15 crore in its seed round from IvyCap Ventures.
The proceeds will be used to ramp up operations, recruit more employees, invest in technology, and expand geographically, the company said in a press release.
Founded by Girish Poddar and Amit Backliwal, Icanheal offers customized healthcare financing solutions to bridge the gap for patients struggling to afford timely and effective treatments.
The Mumbai-based startup aims to democratize access to advanced medical interventions, including medicines, devices, and hospital surgeries.
IvyCap Ventures has invested in around 50 companies spanning sectors such as healthtech, consumer tech, deeptech, fintech, edtech, agritech and spacetech. In April this year, IvyCap Ventures announced the final close of its third fund at Rs 2,100 crore. Through this fund, the firm plans to invest in about 25 early-stage startups.
