Drone logistics startup Skye Air raises $4 Mn in Series A round

Skye Air, a SaaS-based autonomous logistics solution provider, has raised $4 million in its Series A round from Mount Judi Ventures, Chiratae Ventures, Venture Catalyst, Windrose Capital, and Tremis Capital. The round also saw participation from Faad Capital, Misfits Capital, Hyderabad Angels, Soonicorn Ventures and other existing investors, family offices and angels.

Earlier in November 2022, Skye Air had raised $1.7 million in its seed round led by Chiratae Ventures.

The fresh proceeds will help the startup expand its last-mile network across Gurugram and other cities for healthcare, e-commerce, and quick-commerce deliveries.

Founded by Ankit Kumar and Chandra Prakash, Skye Air is making sustainable last-mile logistics solutions across healthcare, e-commerce, quick-commerce, and food industries.

The Delhi-NCR based firm focuses on integrating drone deliveries as a mainstream logistics solution for the aforementioned industries.

Skye Air is also the creator of Skye UTM, an advanced unmanned traffic management system, which manages drone traffic, ensures safety, and facilitates efficient communication between drones and air traffic controls.
