Customer loyalty and marketing startup Reelo has raised $1 million from Silicon Valley-based angel investor Gokul Rajaram.

The proceeds will be used to ramp up hiring, expand its footprint in current and new global markets, and enhance its artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities.

Founded in 2017 by brother duo Prit and Parin Sanghvi, Reelo offers a simple and affordable solution to the problem of building customer awareness around retail products. The platform has partnered with various PoS billing software providers such as Petpooja, DotPe, and TMBill, among others.

The firm claims to have grown from a boutique company which started in Ahmedabad with around 70 businesses to now having a presence in 24 cities.

As a B2B2C SaaS platform, Reelo works with offline businesses across industries. Its key brands include names such as Jawed Habib, Bikanerwala, Gwalia Sweets, Ferns N Petals, La Pinos and more.
