Driver assistance startup Sapience Automata has raised Rs 1.75 crore in a Seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures.

The funds will be utilised for growing sales for driver camera, building key partnerships in the automotive domain, developing advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) technology, and filing international patents, the company said in a press release.

Founded by Satyajit Neogi in 2021, Sapience Automata focuses on revolutionising road safety in India through plug-and-play driver assistance technology. The firm aims to eliminate accidents by leveraging advanced AI and autonomous driving tech.

By offering custom-made products and applications, it provides solutions that are tailored to the specific needs and conditions of Indian drivers.

Operating primarily from Bengaluru, Sapience currently focuses on commercial fleets, laying the foundation for future expansion and scalability in the B2C market.

FlowPilot and Swaayatt Robots also operate in advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).

According to startup data intelligence platform TheKredible, Inflection Point Ventures emerged as the most active investors in Q1 2024 with 11 investments. Blume Ventures, Venture Catalysts and Fireside Ventures were next on the list.
