Sidharth Satpathy, who is the vice president at Swiggy Instamart, has resigned after working for more than four years at the company.
Satpathy will be replaced by Amazon India’s performance marketing head Anirban Roy.
“Anirban Roy will be taking over my role in Instamart effective this week as I start my next stint - Back in the CPG industry from Monday onwards,” said Satpathy in a LinkedIn Post.
In the last 8 months, Swiggy has witnessed some top-level exits including Dale Vaz, Karthik Gurumurthy, Ashish Lingamneni, Nishad Kenkre, and Anuj Rathi. As per media reports, Gurumurthy is going to start his own venture called Convenio.
Vaz also quit the firm to start his own wealth tech firm Aaritya Tech.
Swiggy has been planning for an initial public offering for quite some time. The firm is also looking to become profitable ahead of the public listing. In May last year, Swiggy announced that its food delivery business had turned profitable. Meanwhile, the firm is eyeing to touch profitability in grocery delivery service (Swiggy Instamart) by March 2024.
Last week, asset management company Invesco marked up the foodtech major’s valuation to $8.3 billion. This was a back-to-back increase in valuation for the Bengaluru-based company in the past three months.
