Artificial intelligence global admissions startup Ambitio has raised Rs 1.55 crore in its pre-seed round co-led by First Cheque and other investors.
The company plans to utilise the funds to focus further on product development to cover more programs and building distribution channels, Ambitio said in a press release.
Co-founded in 2022 by Dirghayu Kaushik, Vikrant Shivalik, and Vaibhav Tyagi, Ambitio helps aspirants secure admissions in top global universities. It enables applicants to identify ideal courses and craft stellar essays & SOPs. With access to a database of over 2 million admits, the firm is developing a low-touch approach to build a comprehensive global admissions platform.
According to Ambitio, it aims to serve as intelligent digital advisors to students throughout their admissions journey. Its mentor approach coupled with in-house admission experts, ensures that its applicants get accepted into their dream schools by fostering strong profile building and crafting stellar applications.
The other major players in this space are Yocket, Leverage Edu, iSchoolConnect, Leap Scholar and others.
