Gadget and wearables brand Noise has raised maiden funding from global audio giant Bose. The Gurugram-based company remained a bootstrapped firm until this Series A round.
Noise did not disclose the amount it raised from Bose.
“This isn't just about funding; it's about synergy: two tech giants, united by a passion for innovation, coming together to reimagine the future of smart wearables,” said Noise co-founder Amit Khatri in a Linkedin post.
Noise sells around 35 SKUs including smartwatches, wireless earphones, and wireless speakers through e-commerce platforms and its own website.
According to International Data Corporation (IDC), Noise was the second top wearables brand with a 13.5% market share and regained its first position in smartwatch space with a 27.6% share in the first half of 2023.
In terms of revenue, the firm grew by 79.8% to Rs 1,426 crore in FY23 from Rs 793 crore in FY22. It directly competes with boAt which continued to lead the wearable space in India with 26.6% share during the H1 2023.
