IppoPay, a payment infrastructure provider to small businesses, has announced its partnership with Visa to issue small business credit cards.
As per IppoPay, this will uplift small business owners, and catalyze financial inclusion across tier II and III cities and rural areas.
Founded in November 2020, IppoPay provides its merchants with business bank accounts, debit cards, and an end-to-end payments stack for their businesses. It helps businesses, freelancers, homepreneurs, and people who do business in tier II and III cities, and rural areas.
The startup claims that it has enabled 500,000 offline merchants and daily income earners in the Indian tier II, tier III, and rural market to increase their revenues through the acceptance of online payments.
In the coming months, IppoPay will continue to work to expand its reach, enhance its services, and make financial inclusion for all.
Visa has had a longstanding commitment to empower small businesses and has recently surpassed its own mission of empowering 50 million small businesses globally, touching the lives of nearly 67 million micro and small businesses.
