Eyewear brand Enrico Eyewear has raised Rs 2.1 crore in a pre-seed round led by 100X.VC.

The company plans to channel the funds to expand its market reach through diverse distribution activities, educate customers about the importance of quality eyewear and maintain eye health, Enrico stated in a press release.

Founded in 2022 by Kavin Khara, Enrico Eyewear aims to  simplify the eyewear purchasing journey by offering a carefully curated selection of limited yet widely accepted frames, aligning with its strategic hero-product approach. Its products range including computer glasses and sunglasses, providing protection against the challenges of digitalization and sunlight,

The Mumbai-based startup intends to diversify its product portfolio and is planning to launch night-driving glasses and photochromics in the coming months.

100X.VC has so far invested in more than 140 startups and raised upwards of $72 million funding from VC funds, HNIs, Angel Networks and Family Offices.
