Kolkata-based beauty brand WishCare has raised Rs 20 crore in its first institutional round led by Unilever Ventures.
The proceeds will be utilised for amplifying research and development, focusing on formulating high-efficacy products and making foray into the domestic market as well as globally, WishCare said in a press release.
Co-founded in 2019 by Stuti Kothari, Ankit Kothari and Ayush Kothari, WishCare offers a diverse range of haircare and skincare products ranging from bond repair hair treatments, hair growth serums, face serums, sunscreens, and active-based body lotions.
WishCare aims to deliver products and solve the consumer’s needs as a sustainable, unique and minimal hassle experience. The company says that it lays more emphasis on clean and effective formulas, conscious packaging and caring social initiatives.
WishCare claims that its current ARR stands at Rs 85 crore, having grown 4x in the last 12 months, while maintaining a double digit EBITDA.
Its products are available on more than 15 marketplaces like Nykaa, Amazon, FlipKart, Purplle, and Myntra alongwith its own D2C website. The company also asserts that it has over 10 lakhs customer base.
