Medical technology startup Inito has raised $6 million in a Series A round led by Fireside Ventures.
The startup’s app is currently only available on iOS and plans to use the new funding to build an Android app. In addition, it will invest in R&D for new products.
Launched in 2015, Inito helps women track fertility hormones and provides personalised analytics on reproductive health through its flagship product, the Fertility Monitor. In the long term, the Bengaluru-based company aims to offer diagnostic tests to address various health concerns through app.
The fertility monitor starter kit products are available on Inito and Amazon.
Inito had previously raised funds from Y Combinator, former Nurx CEO Varsha Rao and a dozen physicians and family office. It was a part of Y Combinator’s winter 2019 batch.
In October 2022, early-stage consumer-focused venture capital firm Fireside announced the final close of its third fund at $225 million.
