Fixed income investment platform Tap Invest (formerly Leaf Round) has raised $2 million in its seed round led by Turbostart. Snow Leopard Ventures alongside angel investors like Kunal Shah and Kashyap Shah have also participated in the round.
The startup’s existing backers Upsparks and Superb Capital too continued to support the platform in this round.
Founded by Nishchay Nath, Soumya Kushwaha, and Himashu Chowdhary, Tap Invest is a fintech startup that offers asset renting as an alternative investment product and claims to have witnessed strong traction from its early users since its launch in April 2022.
The platform claims to have onboarded more than 12,500 investors who are consistently using the platform to invest into fixed income category through asset leasing and invoice discounting.
Previously, the startup had raised $300K in its pre-seed funding from micro VC firm Upsparks, Superb Capital and senior business leaders from McKinsey, Bain, Barclays, and Adobe in April last year.
