Internship platform YouVah has secured $210,000 in its pre-seed funding round co-led by CIIE.CO IIM Ahmedabad and the co-founders of American Chase.
The funds will be used to enable its new programs and conduct experiments to accelerate growth, YouVah said in a press release.
Co-founded in 2021 by Chetan Jachpure, Raghav Parsai, and Rohit Jain, YouVah is an online portal for applying to internships. The platform allows users to enrol and complete training and access internships, to get trained through vocational training and mentorship, and access courses for content writing, social media editing, video editing et al. The company provides features such as internship training, guided assessment, practical experience with employers, etc. and users can also build resumes on its platform.
The Indore-based startup claims that it has partnered with more than 80 schools, including CBSE, ICSE & IB curriculum and has placed over 2,000 teenagers as interns in corporate firms and companies. YouVah also claims to saw over 1 lakh monthly visitors and more than 50,000 registered users on its platform during last six months.
According to YouVah, it aims to expand its footprints across nations and offer teenagers the convenience of enrolling in multi-disciplinary internship programs from their homes through the user-friendly interface of its website.
YouVah directly or indirectly competes with the likes of Internshala, Letsintern, Twenty19, Skillenza, Youth4work and others.
