Leucine, a B2B SaaS platform for pharmaceutical companies, has raised $7 million in a Series A funding round led by Ecolab along with the participation of Pravega Ventures, Axilor Ventures, Techstars and others.
The fresh funds will be used to build its go-to-market (GTM) motion, ramp up AI capabilities and expand the team, Leucine stated in a press statement.
Co-founded in 2019 by Vivek Gera and Mustaq Singh Bijral, Leucine helps pharmaceutical manufacturing clients with batch planning, modernising traditional procedures and replacing paper-based records with a digital-first approach. The company also helps clients with actionable insights through analytics dashboard.
Leucine also announced the beta launch of Leucine 10x, an AI-powered framework designed to serve as a co-pilot in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. The company claims that its solutions has deployed at over 30 companies in over 300 pharma manufacturing facilities across 10 countries, including the US, India, Brazil, Mexico and others.
Its clients include Cipla, Dr Reddy’s and Cadila.
According to Leucine, it has seen almost a two-fold jump in the total number of manufacturing facilities using its product and major contributions are from the US and India.
