Intelligent supply chain platform FreightFox has raised $600,000 in a seed funding round led by Aeravti Ventures along with participation from other investors.
The Pune-based startup had earlier raised $300,000 in April 2021 before a seed round led by Mahendra Yadav and others. The company plans to use the funds to develop their platform and make foray into new markets, FreightFox said in a press release.
Co-founded in October 2020 by Nitish Rai, Manjari Sharma, Dhananjaya Shetty, Sandeep Mukhopadhyay, and Vikas Singh, FreightFox is a data-first enterprise transportation procurement and management system powering growth through more choices, better control and certainty in decision making for manufacturing logistics. Its collaborative truck loads reduces cost-to-serve with lower inventory pile-ups for manufacturing enterprises.
Other major players in this space are Piramal Capital backed Leap India, Rivigo, Accel Partners backed-4tigo, Shadowfax, Porter, FreightBro amongst others.
In May, Aeravti Ventures announced the first close of its inaugural Rs 100 crore fund. The fund will focus on sectors such as deeptech, deep-sciences, biosciences, agritech, climate, and enterprise tech.
