Styched acquihires performance wear brand Zymrat

D2C fashion and lifestyle brand Styched has acquired Zymrat, a performance wear brand in a cash and equity swap deal, alongside an acquihire of the Zymrat team.

With the acquisition, Zymrat will continue to operate separately under the same brand name and continue to offer its current and expanded product lineup.

According to Zymrat, it will use the potential of production-on-demand technology under Styched's direction to broaden its product offering and lower the cost of its high-quality items in order to reach a wider audience.

Zymrat is a performance wear brand that offers a wide range of products such as training and running t-shirts, shorts, joggers and outerwear for men.

At the time of acquisition, Zymrat claims to have an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of $1 million.

Launched in 2019 by Soumajit Bhowmik, Styched, already known for its production-on-demand fashion apparel, claims that it operates on a zero wastage, zero inventory, and zero warehouse model.

In July, Styched acquired Flatheads, a direct-to-customer (D2C) casual sneaker startup in an all equity deal.
