StampThePassport raises Rs 4 Cr from angel investors

Online visa application platform StampThePassport has raised Rs 4 crore in a pre-seed round from angel investors and private families. The Mumbai-based startup has also announced its official launch with this round.

However, the startup did not disclose name of the investors participating in the round. Entrackr has reached out to StampThePassport to confirm the same.

Founded by Vijay Kesavan, StampThePassport offers online visa application platform that allows travelers to apply for visas from the comfort of their homes. 

The platform claims to offer the convenience to apply for most visas in just under 5 minutes and is available in English, Marathi, Hindi and Gujarati. Its pricing starts from Rs 500 to Rs 1,200 for online visa application and around Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,500 with its Visa Pro model. 

StampThePassport competes with the likes of Atlys, and Visa2Fly, which has also tied up with SpiceJet, Ixigo, and many other travel firms.

Recently, online visa application platform Atlys raised $12 million in a Series A round led by Elevation Capital and Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia Capital India).
