Drone manufacturing startup insideFPV has secured Rs 3.5 crore in a seed funding round led by Mumbai Angels along with participation from IPV, Soonicorn, Fossbytes and Kumar Sahu.

Drone manufacturing startup insideFPV has secured Rs 3.5 crore in a seed funding round led by Mumbai Angels along with participation from IPV, Soonicorn, Fossbytes and Kumar Sahu.

The company plans to leverage the funds to drive the growth, product development, market expansion, distribution,  logistics, data analytics, software integration, acquisition and strategic investment, inside FPV said in a press release.

Co-founded in 2021 by Arth Chowdhary, Devyant Bhardwaj and Oshi Kumari, inside FPV provides drones that empower its clients to create STEM education, create surveillance, and capture first-person view videos that were once out of their reach. The company encompasses various sectors including government contracts & defence, agriculture, commercial sectors and surveillance. 

The Shark Tank-featured startup asserts that it has served more than 1,000 customers, delivered over 2,000 orders, registered an additional over 15,000 customers for buying drones. It also claims to have more than 10 drone arenas set up and has served over 3 regiments.

Mumbai Angels holds an AUM of $130 million and over 230 portfolios spanning a wide range of sectors such as technology, consumer, defence tech, EV, agri-tech and others.
