Tiger Global and Flipkart Ventures-backed G.O.A.T Brand Labs has acquired the remaining stakes from Mumbai-based kids clothing brand Frangipani from its founders.
The Frangipani founders and G.O.A.T Brand Labs will combine their expertise to expand the brand’s presence pan India and take it global, the company said in a press release. G.O.A.T Brand Labs will aid the founders in areas such as digital marketing, technology, working capital management and channel expansion.
Founded in 2012 by Sunaina Patel and Mansi Kilachand, Frangipani is a children's nightwear and loungewear brand. The company claims to combine an international design philosophy with locally-sourced and manufactured products.
G.O.A.T Brand Labs acquires direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands and scales them with its expertise. In January this year, the e-commerce roll up firm had acquired five direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands, including home and lifestyle brand Chumbak. Its portfolio of brands includes Chumbak, The Label Life, Pepe Inner Fashion, trueBrowns, Abhishti, Neemli Naturals, Breakbounce, NutriGlow, Voylla and Imara.
