Health and wellness platform FlexifyMe raises seed round

Health and wellness platform FlexifyMe has raised $1 million in its seed round from Flipkart Ventures, the investment arm of e-commerce marketplace Flipkart. Other notable participants like GSF, iHub Anubhuti, Chandigarh Angels (CAN), Venture Catalyst, and OneCapital among other prominent angels have also joined the round. 

FlexifyMe had raised $300K in the first tranche of its seed round in May last year. The proceeds from this round will be used to further enhance the AI motion coach, making it available in local languages, and expanding the platform's reach in the MENA and North American regions.

Founded by Manjeet Singh and Amit Bhayani in October 2021, the brand’s goal is to help reverse chronic illnesses and stress and help people get rid of musculoskeletal disorders (MSK) such as back pain, spondylitis, arthritis, knee pain and other in natural way. According to the company, it combines AI motion tracking with the latest advancements in physiotherapy and Yoga.

The startup claims to have grown by almost 5X in the last 12 months.

On Monday, Flipkart Ventures announced that it will invest in five early-stage startups as part of its Flipkart Leap Ahead accelerator programme. Besides FlexifyMe, Algomage, Castler, NimbleBox.ai, and ReCircle will receive equity funding this year.
