Gurugram-based D2C wellness brand What’s Up Wellness has raised Rs 14.4 crore in its seed funding round led by Unilever Ventures, the venture capital arm of FMCG major Unilever. Notably, this marks Unilever Ventures’ first investment in a health and wellness firm.

Prior to this, the brand had raised an angel funding round from a clutch of angels, including co-founders of consumer brands like Sirona Hygiene and Clovia in 2022.

The fresh funds will be used towards ramping up their team, furthering growth and scaling efforts, and most importantly, the development of an array of new products.

Co-founded by Sayantani Mandal and Vaibhav Makhija, What’s Up Wellness offers various types of easily consumable gummy supplements. It claims to have served more than 2.5 lakh users, while selling 4 lakh packs of gummies across India to date.

The startup claims to have grown more than 12 times in the last year with current ARR of Rs 30 crore with a 40% repeat customer rate. The brand plans to launch around 12 new products, fulfilling wellness-related use cases for its users.
