Hyperlocal grocery store and managed services company Dusminute has raised Rs 11.5 crore in a bridge round led by Inflection Point Ventures with participation from banker Bandana Kankani.
The funds will be utilised to drive Dusminute’s growth in Bangalore, Dusminutes said in a press release.
Co-founded in 2019 by Apoorva Mishra, Ankita Asai, and Nikhil Gupta, Dusminute provides grocery for residents in gated communities. The company adopts an omnichannel strategy by partnering with developers and Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), offering a superstore within the community premises that provides a wide range of products including vegetables, groceries, bakery items, snacks, and even a pharmacy.
The company's app facilitates home deliveries and offers numerous value-added services like painting, deep cleaning, pest control etc. creating a comprehensive real solution for residents' needs.
According to Dusminute, its niche focus on apartment complexes and its omni-channel model combining a superstore and superapp sets it apart, offering convenience, and addressing concerns of product quality and delivery time. The Bengaluru-based company claims to be serving 35 apartment communities and a pipeline of a dozen more.
