D2C kids subscription platform Gro Club has raised Rs 4.3 crore in a pree-seed round at a valuation of Rs 25 crore led by Ramaiah Evolute, a startup wing of MS Ramaiah Group.
Angels investors including Deepak Gowda, Purushotham R, Chirag Shah, Isaac Reyes, Amit Nanavati, Sanjay Munirathna, Dinesh Talera, Shricharan N J and Sanjay Sunku also participated in the round.
With the new fund, the startup will expand its range and reach new Indian cities, Gro Club said in a press release.
Launched in January 2022, Gro Club offers bicycle on subscription for growing kids and hassle free ownership for grownups with a subscription price ranging from Rs 250 to Rs 500. The company provides service at doorstep for the entire period of the subscription.
It is currently available in Bengaluru. The startup claims to have boarded over 4500 subscribers and currently clocking a subscription monthly revenue rate of Rs 23 lakh.
Beyond Subscription, GroClub fosters holistic development of kids by teaching them responsible consumption which include a wide variety of digital and outdoor experiences.
