Nail care startup O’2 Nails India has raised $150K in its seed round of funding led by Real Time Angle fund and AIC- BIMTECH.
The proceeds will be deployed to provide agile nail art technology along with the exceptional service and innovative products for nail care, O’2 Nails India stated in a press statement.
Founded in 2021 by Aparna and Vikram, O’2 Nails India is a consumer and fashion retail startup in the nail care domain. O’2 Nails has created a unique and exciting range of products and services in the personal care and beauty care category starting with nails. The company aims to deliver exceptional customer service and give customers access to innovative nail care products.
According to O’2 Nails, the startup has 30 stores across 15 cities across India covering 7 states and plans to open more than 100 stores for FY24. The brand looks to grow its retail footprint and customer base by 500% and 10X, respectively, on YoY. It has 90% of female staff members at O’2 Nails India. It has glamorised 1 million nails since its inception.
O’2 Nails India claims that its parent company Gold and Glitter Private limited expanded in retail through Digital Nail Art Boutique Chain in 2018 and currently operational with ten boutiques in Delhi, Indore, Bhopal, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Kanpur serving more than 10,000 clients with sizable profitability.
