Content-to-commerce company Good Glamm Group has acquired a majority stake (51%) in digital media company Tweak India in a cash and stock deal.
Founded in 2019 by Twinkle Khanna, Tweak India is a new-age digital media company that talks to women about every aspect of their lives, with a healthy dose of irreverence and optimism. Tweak’s interests span written content, video, events, and retail, and have drawn a loyal following among urban, financially independent women who relate to its aspirational yet accessible offerings.
Following this acquisition, Mumbai-based Tweak India will function under Good Media Co. led by Priyanka Gill. Tweak India’s founder & CEO Twinkle Khanna will continue in her role and will also become a shareholder of the Good Glamm Group.
The Good Media Co. comprises POPxo, ScoopWhoop, BabyChakra, MissMalini Entertainment, and now Tweak India.
Founded by Darpan Sanghvi, and later joined by Priyanka Gill and Naiyya Saggi, the Good Glamm Group is a content-creator commerce conglomerate that comprises a portfolio of innovative and fast-growing direct-to-consumer beauty and personal care brands, powered by its proprietary digital ecosystem of content and creator assets.
Backed by the likes of Warburg Pincus, Prosus Ventures, L’Occitane, Bessemer Venture Partners, Accel, Amazon, and Stride Ventures, The Good Media Co claims to have a large digital audience comprising 88 million POPxo annual users, 100 million users of ScoopWhoop, 35 million users of MissMalini and BabyChakra’s 39 million mothers community and 10,000 doctors network.
