Digital marketing solution provider Intellemo has secured over Rs 3 crore in a seed round led by early-stage angel investing platform Inflection Point Ventures. The round also witnessed participation of CRED’s founder Kunal Shah, Soonicorn LLP, Rahool, Amit Gupta, Sureka and Saurabh Aggarwal
The company plans to utilise funds to expand its tech, video ads tech among others, Intellemo said in a press release.
Founded in 2018 by Saurabh Gupta, Tusha Agarwal and Shivam Gupta, Intellemo provides instant marketing campaigns for businesses. As of now, the Gurugram-based company claims to have supported over 8,000 brand accounts and created more than 1000 accounts. It also claims to have launched over 150 daily searches and is growing.
Intellemo competes with a host of marketing agencies and platforms including the likes of Digital Marketing Deal, Social Beat, Niswey, Koderey. Digital marketing startups have not seen significant funding inflow as they are considered to be operations heavy and hard to scale.
In May, Inflection Point Ventures launched Physis Capital, a $50 million AIF CAT II venture capital fund. According to IPV, the new fund will have a greenshoe option of $25 million, and will look to invest in 15-20 startups through pre-Series A to Series B funding rounds with check sizes ranging from $2 million to $10 million.
So far, it has invested in more than 100 startups across sectors such as consumer tech, edtech, healthtech, fintech, B2B SaaS, social and content commerce. The fund has also secured full exits from a clutch of startups such as BharatPe, Hobspace, Fitso, Qbera and Pedagogy, among others.
