Luxury villa rental startup StayVista has raised Rs 40 crore in a new round led by DSG Consumer Partners with participation from Capri Global and CA Holdings.

The funding proceeds will be used to expand its footprint across the country to over 2,500 villas. Currently, StayVista operates around 500 villas across India.

Founded by Amit Damani, SayVista partners with luxury villa owners and provides them with manpower, operational expertise and marketing through its app and website. It also provides facilities such as food, housekeeping, music, and sightseeing, among others.

According to an ET report, the startup was valued at Rs 220 crore after the funding round. The firm’s key customer base is people who travel in groups and the average ticket size is about Rs 25,000. The startup charges a commission of about 30%.

Last year, StayVista’s made a revenue of about Rs 100 crore and aims to generate Rs 1,000 crore in 3-4 years.
