Indore-based telemedicine firm Medyseva has raised Rs 1.5 crore or $190K pre-Series A round from AIC RNTU Bhopal through the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme.
Additionally, the firm obtained funding from a group of angel investors, chaired by Horses Stable and including Mohit Gulati, Mandar Joshi, Yamika Mehra, Ankita Vashistha, Aarti Gupta, and Dr. Vivek Bindra, in order to expand the reach of its flagship effort, Medyseva Kendra, in rural India.
The money will be used by Medyseva to expand and strengthen its IT infrastructure, hire specialised medical personnel to ensure effective service delivery to the rural sector, and add new services to its current menu of products.
Launched by Dr. Vishesh Kasliwal, Medyseva specialises in telemedicine in rural India. It bridges the gap between doctors and patients through e-clinics which cover the entire spectrum such as virtual consultations, procuring medicines, booking diagnostic tests and others healthcare services.
