This week, 23 Indian startups raised funding, of which 19 received a total of about $275 million. EarlySalary and Skyroot Aerospace were the top fundraisers which scooped up $110 million and $51 million respectively. Last week, 26 homegrown startups raised funding worth about $142.2 million

Meanwhile, the funding of four of the total funded startups remained undisclosed. 

Growth/late-stage deals 

This week, five growth stage startups raised their new round which includes fintech startup EarlySalary’s $110 million Series D round and spacetech startup Skyroot Aerospace’s $51 million Series B round.

Early-stage deals 

In the early stage deals, 18 startups have raised funds which also include four undisclosed rounds. Recruitment startup Kula was on top of the list with a $12 million seed round. The list also includes metal manufacturers Metalbook and fintech startup iPiD.

Undisclosed deals    

Soptle, GREENEST, Apni Bus and Tortoise did not disclose their financial details.   

City and segment-wise fundings   

This week, Delhi-NCR-based startups were on top in terms of the number of startup deals and the amount raised by them. According to Fintrackr’s data, 8 Delhi-NCR-based startups have raised funds this week amounting to $10 million or 3.47% of the total funding. During the week, Bengaluru-based startups raised $69 million across 7 deals.

Fintech startups were the top segment in terms of the number of deals as startups in this space raised $135 million across 5 deals. Healthtech, foodtech, spacetech and recruitment startups were next on the list. 

Mergers and acquisitions

Apart from the fundraisings, the week also saw one acquisition of US-based WildWorks by Nazara Technologies.
