IAN infuses Rs 1.8 Cr in EV tech startup Electrifuel

Electric vehicle startup Electrifuel has secured Rs 1.8 crore in its seed round from Indian Angel Networks (IAN). The round was led by Vishnuraj Kunjur, Sahil Kejriwal, and Pradeep Gupta.

The fresh capital will be deployed to hire talents, expand the team, scale up production, and invest in research and development for the overall growth of the enterprise, Electifuel said in a press release.

Founded in 2017, Electrifuel enables electric vehicle and battery manufacturers to make reliable and smart products while reducing time to market with ready-to-integrate hardware and software solutions. As per the company, electric vehicle fleet operators and battery swapping operators can augment and optimise businesses by leveraging its suites of offerings including telematics, intelligent EV IoT, battery swapping infra and operating systems.

Electrifuel also provides necessary hardware like motor controller, vehicle control unit, telematics, battery charger, and a complete suite of web and mobile apps as software solutions for enterprises and customers.

The Delhi-NCR-based startup claims to have deployed more than 15,000 units of its products to over 25 customers and is in trials with 4 battery manufacturers.
