Sunday Design, a furniture and home decor brand, has raised pre-Series A funding of $1.5 million led by QRG Investment and Holdings, Kama Group, KCT Family Office, and other existing investors.
The fresh capital will be utilised to expand both its online and offline presence, hiring additional retail spaces across Mumbai and Bengaluru in the coming years, Sunday Design said in a press release. The company will also launch an e-commerce store to expand the reach and scale of its market share across the country and in new segments.
Sunday Design plans to expand its product range, including the launch of home fragrances, table linen, tableware, and soft furnishings. The brand aims to emerge as a complete premium home decor brand.
The Delhi-based startup claims to have recorded an impressive 10% month-over-month growth since its launch in October 2021.
Launched in October 2021, the company had earlier raised $1.25 million from Gautam Baid and his partner Vinit Agarwal, as well as venture capitalists Sanjay Kapoor, Abhishek Goyal, Gurjeet Singh Bains, Sirca Paints India's Apoorv Agarwal, and I-Evo's Manan Khetan.
