goEgoNetwork, an electric vehicle charging infrastructure solutions provider, has raised $8 million in a Series A funding round from investors including venture capitals and HNIs.

When we reached out to know the name of the investors, the company didn’t disclose it.

According to goEgoNetwork, the funds will be used in developing and installing the fast DC charging station product line and expanding its infrastructure in six major Indian metropolitans.

goEgoNetwork had previously raised $2 million in a seed funding round to expand its existing electric charging network and leverage the green consciousness gradually sweeping across the country.

The Pune-based startup aims to reach a target of 8,500 charging stations across India with 15,000 paying members on the network in a short span of time.

goEgoNetwork claims to have a robust product range consisting of both AC and DC charging stations starting from 1.1kW AC and going up to 60kW DC. The company further added that it has more than 1,000 charging points across more than 55 cities in 15 states in the country.
