Digital platform for mental health Wysa has raised $20 million in its Series B round led by HealthQuad, along with British International Investment (BII).
Wysa will deploy capital to launch operations in the US, UK et al and improve products for wider usability through multi-lingual support, the company said in a press statement.
The platform’s solution could be accessed individually and via employers. Wysa provides workplace solution that caters to the full spectrum of behavioral health needs. Its enterrise customers include Accenture, Aetna, NHS, and the Ministry of Health in Singapore among others.
At present, the seven-year-old company claims to have facilitated over 400 million conversations with 4.5 million users in 65 countries. As on now, the company had raised around $30 million including a $5.5 million Series A round in May last year.
Wysa is yet to file its annual financials statements for FY22 but its operating revenue grew 5X to Rs 6.96 crore in FY21 from Rs 1.31 crore in FY20. The company posted a loss of Rs 5.31 crore in FY21, as per its regulatory filings with the Registrar of companies (RoC).
