Threado, a community management startup, has raised $ 3.1 million in a seed round of funding led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India. Other investors such as Gemba Capital, Speciale invest, PointOne Capital, Deepinder Goyal, Pankaj Chaddah, Krish Subramanian, Rajaraman Santhanam, Abhishek Goyal, Aneesh Reddy along with some others have also participated in this round.

According to Threado, the fresh capital will be utilised to strengthen the team, double down on the product and accelerate traction in the North American market.

Founded by Pramod Rao and Abhishek Nalin in 2020, Threado provides an actionable dashboard to businesses and creators that manage their online communities on platforms such as Slack, Discord, Discourse, Twitter and GitHub. It claims to be used by over 200 communities with over 1 million members. The company’s clientele base includes On Deck, Glide Apps, Ultrahuman, Rocketlane, Scalar Academy, FamPay.
