Auxano Capital, an early stage venture capital, has raised $25 million for Indian startups through its network of high net worth individual, ultra high net worth individual and family offices.
According to Auxano, the funds will be utilised in its two-pronged investment strategy: business classification (category creator, market creator and market owner) and stage of business (seed, pre Series and Series A and Series B).
Auxano is a sector-agnostic VC firm looking to invest across fintech, enterprise SaaS, sustainable mobility, and agritech via its fund Auxano Entrepreneur Trust.
Founded by Brijesh Damodran, it has invested in more than 20 startups with a corpus of more than $7.5 million through special purpose vehicles and its fund. Some of its portfolio includes Petsutra, Stockal, Market Wolf, Unlu, EduGorilla and Med Delivery.
Auxano Capital has been investing in early stage startups since 2016. Their strategy involves investing in next-gen technology-led and consumer focused businesses driven by the subscription economy.
