D2C skincare brand Foxtale has raised $4 million in its pre-Series A round led by Matrix Partners India with participation from existing backer Kae Capital.
The Mumbai-based startup had raised its seed round in August last year. This round of funding will be used in product development, hiring vertical heads and in scaling the business.
Started in 2021 by Romita Mazumdar, Foxtale is a low cost skincare brand.
Last week, online beauty and grooming products marketplace Purplle had raised $33 million in its Series E round at a unicorn valuation.
